ABOUT

Turan Rusi came to the U.S. in 1970 with a determined vision: to make it in America.

Before his sons Sal, Eli, and Beni reached 20 years of age, they were already laying hot tar down on roofs for their father’s new venture, and, in 1979, Benjamin Roofing was established.

Word spread about these three brothers: their honesty, work ethic, pride, and respect, and this small, Brooklyn-based company grew and began to thrive. Soon, they were laying down their first roof in Manhattan for none other than Silverstein Properties, 120 Broadway.

Forty years later, we changed our name to make it clear we specialize in entire building envelope systems, not just roofs; but we are STILL doing work for Silverstein Properties and our portfolio continues to grow. It now includes Brookfield Properties, RFR Realty, Stahl Properties, Hines, AIG, RXR Realty, and Goldman Sacs to name a few.

Today, Eli Rusi is President of Benjamin Maintenance along with his daughter Elli Rusi and son Adrian Rusi. Together with their team, Eli, Elli, and Adrian are involved in every job from a small leak repair to multi-million dollar facade restoration projects. Our client relations always feel special, in the way only a family-owned and operated company does.

We take the utmost pride in our clients, employees, and our name.
We are proud supporters of Donate 8, St Jude’s Hospital, Kids for Kids, The Florina Rusi Marke Cancer Foundation, Outreach NY, Maimonides Hospital, Brooklyn, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York.
